At HyET Solar we're looking for a Mechanical Engineer – Lamination, Coating, Dosing & Curing to join our team.

The role:

Join us in revolutionizing solar energy production with innovative roll-to-roll processes, directly contributing to a sustainable future and a greener planet. Initially, you’ll focus on further developing and optimizing our current 40MWp factory. Over the course of the next year, you’ll also contribute to the conceptual design of a new state-of-the-art 1GWp factory, which is planned to be operational in approximately five years. As part of the Machine Engineering team, you are at the forefront of this exciting transformation, designing cutting-edge production tools for flexible solar modules with diverse applications. As a Mechanical Engineer, you’ll focus on lamination, coating, dosing, and curing processes, playing a key role in the design and optimization of production tools. This role offers a clear growth path to becoming a Technical Project Manager. 

Your tasks:

  • Design and simulate lamination, coating, dosing, and curing systems. 

  • Guide the assembly, testing, and commissioning of machinery. 

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet technical and operational goals. 

Our ideal candidate has:

  • 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering roles. 

  • MSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, ideally with expertise in lamination, coating, dosing, or curing processes. 

  • Also, Engineers with experience in the equipment for the chemical or process industry are encouraged to apply. 

  • A hands-on approach and ambition to grow into a project management role. 

  • Fluent English communication skills (Dutch is a plus). 

  • Experience with automation, process control, and engineering documentation is an advantage. 

What we offer

  • Our terms and conditions are conforming the Collective Agreement Metalektro (CAO);

  • A fulltime position for 40 hours per week, mostly within office hours;

  • A salary ranging between € 4.000,- and € 6.000,- for a 40 hours working week depending on relevant working experience;

  • 27 holidays and 13 scheduled paid days per year for a fulltime job;

  • Pension scheme at PME;
