Electrical Engineer: Electric Fields

At HyET Solar we're looking for a Electrical Engineer, specialised in eletric fields to join our team.

Your role:

As an Electrical Engineer, you will be the key person in developing and specifying the electrical aspects of our array of production equipment. One key aspect in the manufacturing of our production process is the plasma enhanced chemical vapour deposition (PECVD) process in which we use an electrically ignited plasma (RF and VHF frequencies) for growing thin films. For the development of the equipment for this process we require in depth knowledge of electrical (antenna) design and of the of the equipment required to produce these electric fields.

You will be pivotal in the specification, design, installation and commissioning of our future machinery. Your work will have a direct impact on improving efficiency and boosting the reliability of our processes.

We are ideally looking for candidates who will not only be keen to use their theoretical and design background, but also are eager to work hands on together with a multi disciplinary team and our partners to bring the newly developed equipment into real production.

Our ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience and:

· At least an MSc  in Radiofrequency electronics, Electrical Engineers, or a related field, with proven experience with electromagnetic design.
· A hands- on approach as evident from previous work or as evident from  other activities.
· Strong problem-solving skills.
· The ability to work independently and take initiative.
· Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken). Dutch is a plus.
·  Experience with working in a multidisciplinary team.
·  Experience with machine control is considered a plus.
·  Experience with antenna design or electrode design is considered a plus.
· Experience with writing engineering documents.

What we offer

  • A fulltime position for 40 hours per week, mostly within office hours;

  • A salary ranging between € 4.000,- and € 6.000,- for a 40 hours working week depending on relevant working experience;
